Getting to CERN globe:

By plane (Geneva Airport - Cointrin):

First take a free public transport ticket from the machine you will find at the exit to the baggage collection hall, just before customs control. Then you can

  • Take bus Y direction “CERN” and get off at the CERN stop, then head for the large Globe on your right.
  • Or take bus 23, 28 or 57 and get off at “Blandonnet” and then catch tram 18, final stop “CERN”.

By train (Geneva Railway Station - Cornavin):

Take tram 18 to "CERN" which is the final stop at the CERN entrance. (Show me)

Ticket costs 3.20CHF (Ticket "Tout Genève" on the ticket machine).

 

Getting to CICG:

By plane (Geneva Airport - Cointrin):

First take a free public transport ticket from the machine you will find at the exit to the baggage collection hall, just before customs control. Then you can

  • Take bus 5 direction “Thônex-Vallard” and get off at the “Vermont” stop,
  • Or take bus 28 direction “Jardin Botanique” and get off at “Nations”. 

By train (Geneva Railway Station - Cornavin):

  • Take bus 5 direction “Aeroport” and get off at the “Vermont” stop,
  • Or take bus 8 direction “Geneve, OMS” and get off at the “UIT” stop,
  • Or take tram 15 direction “Geneve, Nations” and get off at the “UIT” stop,

Ticket costs 3.20CHF (Ticket "Tout Genève" on the ticket machine).

From CERN:

  • Take tram 18 direction “Carouge” and get off at the “Cornavin” stop,

Then proceed with any of the fore mentioned options (bus 5, bus 8, tram 15).
